An ambitious smartphone that lives up to its feature set; everything works well— from smartphone features, to imaging, WiFi, Bluetooth and a very good camera. Even more unique is that the N80 is quite compact and very stylish, two things that can’t be said of many smartphones.

Our opinion is that Nokia N80 is a brilliant business phone with powerful equipment and many great features. Probably many would not share our enthusiasm and will say that it’s too big or uncomfortable to use but we consider these drawbacks as minor.

This is a seriously desirable, if flawed, phone that points to the future. One day, all mobiles will be like this.

If you can afford it, the Nokia N80 delivers a powerful multimedia phone packed with advanced imaging features, PIM functionality, and good call quality.

Although the price is dear, the capable and well-rounded Nokia N80 is a great vade mecum for those as interested in imaging and music as in browsing the Web or making voice calls.

As a multimedia device, the N80 doesn’t stand out of the crowd with its common 3-megapixel camera and small display, but it combines fun, functionality and style in one, being one of the best-looking smartphones on the market today. Supporting Email client, brilliant internet browser, UMTS, and Wi-Fi makes it a powerful business device as well.

The N80 can really do it all. Every smart-phone should have wifi, and S60 is much better than Palm OS for many little reasons. Still, I don’t think it’s right for me. I miss the solid form factor of the Treo, all of the third party applications, and predictive T9 is no replacement for the thumb-board.

If Nokia could have doubled the size of the N80’s battery, even at the cost of an additional 18g, I would have had no qualms about giving the device a highly recommended rating. But as things stand, the N80 earns only a “Recommended” rating because of the tarnish that the poor battery life puts on an otherwise shining example of mobile technology.

If you took all the customer requests from every mobile phone survey and added them to a phone, the result would be the N80. It will present you with features that you wouldn’t think you’d ever need, like video editing.

The Nokia N80 is an exceptionally desirable mobile phone with its smooth titanium silver finish it oozes with sophistication. It is very similar to the Nokia N70 but it has a slightly higher specification, a slide opening mechanism & has a slightly darker finish to it appearance wise.
